The annual Bay Point Billfish Invitational, held in July, is an exciting event. Yachts vie for cash prizes in what has become the most prestigious and richest billfish tournament on the Florida Gulf Coast.
Entry into the Bay Point contests is strictly by invitation, and the field is typically full shortly after the invitations are mailed. Equal to the excitement by the participants is the fun and good times had by guests and visitors to the tournament. All tournament events are open to the public and crowds of up to 10,000 people have participated.

The Bermuda Big Game Classic has become one of the sports greatest tournament proving grounds. Provides schedule, rules, registration form, news and articles, and photo gallery.
The Classic will be the centerpiece of the new Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championship. Bermuda Billfish Blast takes place July 2-4, 2005. This new tournament is designed to provide a fun Bermuda competition that works in concert with the July 4 Blue Marlin World Cup.
The Bermuda Billfish Blast will serve as the first leg of the Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championship. Boats fishing the Blast compete for cash and prizes while earning valuable points toward the championship. Throw in a World Cup entry and you will have a real shot at big money, all in Bermuda.

The Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championship is a celebration of the incredible fishing, allowing boats to compete in a competitive Bermuda billfish series. Competing boats will earn points as the anglers wind them in during each qualifying event. The winners will receive a special champions prize package that is sure to be one of the sport's best.
The championship series is comprised of three Bermuda-based events, including the Bermuda Billfish Blast July 2-4, the Bermuda Big Game Classic July 13-17 and the Sea Horse Anglers Club Billfish Tournament July 27-31. Boats must compete in the Classic to be eligible for the Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Championship.

For nearly 40 years, the Fort Lauderdale Billfish Tournament has been bringing you quality fishing tournaments with great payouts. This year will prove to be even better and more exciting! For the past few years, anglers have been able to enter Challenges that allow them to add an extra competitive edge to their fishing experience. This year we have added a new one-day fishing tournament designed to entice new participants to billfishing and to really kick things up, we have added a new Flyfishing Division!

The Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament (HIBT) is known around the world as the "grandfather of all big game fishing tournaments", the 45-year-old non-profit Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament (HIBT) was founded by Peter S. Fithian and six others, to publicize the Kona Coast through the medium of a big fish contest. The HIBT has become a tradition in the coastal town of Kailua-Kona, located on the Big Island of America's 50th State.
Held annually at Kona, Hawaii, since 1959. Provides history, entry form, and rules.

This is one of the largest fishing tournaments in South Florida, both by number of boats and anglers, and believed to be the largest ladies only fishing tournament in the world. It also has been getting bigger and better every year. This year the tournament's major beneficiaries will be the junior angler programs of the Billfish Foundation along with Kids ln Distress and Children's Home Society. We are proud to be recognized as a qualifying tournament for the IGFA Junior Angler World Championship.

The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament is a three-day big-fish team event with Top Team honors going to the team that tallies the most points per pound during the tournament and pays down to third place (first, second and third.). The tournament will also award cash and prizes to the team(s) that catch the largest fish (by weight) in each of the three eligible billfish species.

The 3rd Sunset Billfish Challenge was fished out of Black River in February 2005, and once again we were fortunate with the weather conditions and the fishing. There were 60 strikes reported resulting in 26 Billfish being tagged and released, these consisted of 20 Blue Marlin, 2 Black Marlin, 2 Spearfish and 2 Sailfish. This was a great result and compares favourably to many of the top billfish tournaments worldwide considering the amount of boat days fished.
