Cockpit: Modified and stretched an extra 2\' 2\" from the original, cockpit well forward of the bulkhead was removed to create flat cockpit deck space and greater interior volume

Cabin: Stripped out and rebuilt strictly for racing, the forward cabin was closed off leaving only external access Micro galley, built in self draining cooler, nav station and two pipe berths, the best interior I have ever seen.

Construction: Reconstructing the Cheekee Monkee over the past several years showed many glaring deficiencies in the production boat process, for example, one of the most annoying problem was a leak we couldn't locate until the interior liner was stripped out completely It was discovered that under way, there was a dry spot in the daggerboard that wept water in through the glass, when the boat was at rest, this spot was above the water line, as soon as the boat was moving the water level raised in the dagger board trunk and the water seeped in My boat was always wet and mildewed until now I have plugged the leak and the boat is bone dry!

Handling: Like a 600hp Ferrari!

Engine: 6hp Johnson, goes along at 65 knots in flat seas, if it is windy, up go the sails
