Boat Name: Faith Evan Too II
Boat Type: Power - Cruiser
Manufacturer: Four Winns 288 Vista, 30' - 2004 Feet: 30'
Primary use: Cruising, family weekender
Description: Good looks and lay out, dry ride, comfortable, practical but all the extras. Loads of storage, well built (so far) and great service after delivery. This is the largest boat that we would buy since we trailer with special permit. (13,500 lbs loaded with custom triple axle trailer). Looked at many in this range - this one stood out above others.

Double helm seat (can fit three). "queens" layout bench seat directly to port so whole family can talk while underway. U shaped seating aft. Sink/wet bar. Lots of room. Removable table converts to lay out. In all, can seat 8 to 10 comfortably and safely. Very large swim platform at helm with tons of storage and built in ladder. Best place to fish (don't want fish on cockpit carpet, etc.) two with space to spare. My favorite features from past boats are the electric windlass and the electric engine hatch - it raises with the touch of a button, cockpit seats, table, carpet and all! Beautiful helm layout (except trim tab controls take some getting used to). Electronics include ICOM DCS VHF with weather alert monitoring, Garmen GPS. Good lighting at night with overhead lights in the radar arch, foot lighting through out and remote spot light. Full canvas stored aboard. Also travel canvas.
Mid cabin is large enough for two adults or add small children. Can sit up completely - reading lights, storage lockers, port hole, CO2 monitor, privacy curtain, adjustable ac/heat vent. My favorite spot to get some shut-eye. Forward area converts from table berth large enough for two adults or the whole family to visit watching movies. Very nice size head (5.8 ft. head room) with sink hot/cold water, mirrors, lots of storage in cabinets, ac/heat vents, shower head w/curtain, fresh/black water level gages, etc. Galley has dorm size fridge above with microwave, three large drawers and two shelved cabinets. Fiddled counter with ceramic stove (single) and sink with hot/cold water. Nice layout for long weekends. Just starboard is a couch with storage just above. All wood is in cherry finish, nice fit and lines. Head room in cabin is 6\'2\". Lots of hidden storage space for anything you might need to have handy. Other stuff: electronics include 13\" LCD flat screen TV with Shakespeare TV antennae, Clarion stereo,Sirius satellite, DVD/MP3 player, 6 CD changer, CO detector, etc. Stereo drives 9 speakers (205 watts to 4 in cabin and 640 watts to two pair of coaxial and one sub in cockpit). TV, movies, etc. all can be directed through stereo and faded balance from cockpit to cabin. Also have a game/video port at mid cabin for kids video games or viewing video and still cam shots. Overall very comfortable for long weekends for two adults and two children.
Construction: Fit and finish for fiberglass, cabinetry and wiring (even in out of sight or recessed areas) is impressive.
Handling: Very stable and dry except in 35-45 MPH winds while underway. She will do 48-49 (GPS)WOT. Twin Volvo Duo prop out drives are great handling around the marina and docks. At cruise, we have been known to prepare meals, etc. with minimal issues with pitch and roll.
Engine: Twin 225 hp Volvo with duo-props. Cruise at 32-3300 rpm/29-30 mph for best gas mileage (don\'t have this figure yet but plan to install monitor eventually). She will do 48-49 (GPS)WOT with full fuel (120 gallons) and water(27 gal)tanks and fully loaded with supples and crew.
Owner Comments: Very pleased so far after logging 88 hours on engines and about forty to fifty overnighters. I do have a couple of minor warranty items I need to have taken care of at my 100 hour service but expected some tweaking would be necessary. Overall, very pleased so far.
