Boat Review: Seafox Center Console 21`

Boat Name: Seafox

Boat Type: Power - Fishing

Model: center console

Feet: 21 Year: 2004

Primary use: Fishing

Description: 21' priced right fishing boats. Many Toys for the money

Cockpit: Helm station and windshield provide just enough protection, particularly with T-Top. Large area for electronics without expense of electronics box

Cabin: Center console is big however, the head is positioned too close to wrapped cables going down through the hull so that the porta potty seat only opens 80%. Porta potty should have been angled

Construction: So far so good. Not thrilled with cleat location in that with such a deep V hull, a forward fender just hangs down on the forward cleat. They need another cleat around mid ship for another fender tie up or spring line.

Handling: Still trying to figure out the trim tabs. For $100 more they could have added trim indicators to show you where they are positioned.

Engine: 150 HP Merc 2 stroke. So far no problems

General: I was looking for a 21' CC fishing boat and was stuck in the $35-$45,000 area and to be honest, for a short season in New England that's too much money. For $25,000, I got boat, motor and trailer and so far I have had no major issues.
