In 1964 DONZI came out with the 16 Classic which became the 18 ft Classic. Don Aronow (father of DONZI) designed the classic.
The 22 Classic is a pocket rocket. And, is the most stable 22 that you can buy. Fast, resilient. A good boat for the money. She has the appeal of the original classics: Youre speeding along so close to the water it feels like a Formula One race car with only the occasional light dusting of spray to remind you where you are. Many believe, there's no better boat than a DONZI. The new 22' Classic is enough make anyone believe it.

I know when I first saw her, my blood quickened. Not only did I remember my days as a youth racing small boats on a lake (my parents still don't know about that), but my adolescence following Shelby's Cobras around the race circuit. Watkin's Glen and other tracks. Those were the days. I don't mean to give away my age here, but looking at this boat, actually made me feel young again.
