DONZI has built some of the best and fastest performance offshore boats in the world. They've introduced a whole new line of high performance boats - the ZRs.
The 38 ZR grew out of their 38 Competition Race Series which DONZI back in the early 2000-2001 season. They have done very well both in sales and in racing. In fact, the first six delivered won national world championships.
Now, DONZI is introducing a Bigger and Faster one:
The DONZI 43ZR is being introduced in Miami with big 900 hp engines that are capable of running 115 to 120 miles per hour. Clocked so far at 106 and not near WOT.
The styling concept of the ZR is obvious in the 43.
A Stunning Exterior
The ZRs exterior styling has been designed to elicit a powerful visceral response from the onlooker. They feature a lowered stance and sleek lines that suggest agility and speed. They incorporate numerous embellishments from DONZIs ZR race boat, combined with classic Donzi flair. The net effect is a look that is at once both evolutionary, yet distinctly DONZI.
Low Slung Bow
One important characteristic true in the 43 is a long, low-slung bow. It enhances visibility and inspires driver confidence, while at the same time offering reduced drag for increased aerodynamic efficiency.
A Joy to Drive and Race
Typhoon Marine's Frank Civitano has had the pleasure of driving the 38ZR in two poker runs. As he puts it ..."It's probably one of the nicest, fastest, most stable boats in its class. She was a new boat so I took it easy, but I still passed every boat that was there for the win, all 45 of them. As far as I am concerned, it's the best boat you can own."
The Yellow 43ZR shown here has 900 hp with number 6 drives and ran 106 mph in her first test run. She'll be in Miami in the water. And, ... that is not to be missed.
