The Good Dog 10 is a product of classic hull design and high-tech engineering. Good Dog 10’s are fun, high performance boats for fishing, hunting, and exploring on lakes, ponds, and streams. The boats are easy to handle on land, perform very well in the water, and are produced with fine craftsmanship and the highest quality materials. The Good Dog 10 is available in two models, the Sport and the Wilderness.
- The Sport model has a high quality gel-coat finish which provides exceptional protection from the sun’s UV rays and is available standard in four solid color variations.
- The Wilderness model has a skin-coat resin finish which provides weight savings over gel-coat, and is available standard in three special finishes: two nature patterns and golden Kevlar®.
Light Weight: It’s so light a Good Dog practically jumps on your car. Made with a special vacuum infusion process, the Wilderness at 75lbs and the Sport at 85lbs are among the lightest in their class. No boat ramp required!
Glides and Tracks: Once in the water a Good Dog wants to run and run straight. Its easy glide hull with wineglass transom is responsive to rowing and motoring. Also, the Good Dog 10 tracks well with a full keel that seamlessly transitions into its stem and skeg. This boat is really fun to row.
Motor Friendly: While the Good Dog 10 can be run with a 2hp outboard, it loves electric motor power! With the optional trolling motoring package, the interior is pre-wired with easy plug-in connectors and wiring hidden in the keel. The battery is located near the bow and the trolling motor is clamped on the transom. Battery in front means a well balanced boat for electric motor trolling.
Finely-Crafted: The Good Dog 10 is constructed with finely-crafted details, including: The gunnels, deck and transom-top are made with hand-crafted solid-wood mahogany. The Good Dog logo is wood-burned in the deck with a Rick Herget-built brass branding-dye. All line fittings are through-hole fittings with stainless-steel inserts.
