A Grand Banks Yacht is designed and built for cruising. The long lasting and far-reaching popularity of these boats is evidence that they can be depended upon to perform as promised: to take their owners and guests securely and comfortably wherever they want to go. Weather not cooperating? Don't worry; inside steering provides comfort and protection during those unpredictable bad weather days.
There are many, many details in the design that have proven to be invaluable to the serious cruiser. Many of these design details are from the original Grand Banks 36 and are still relevant today. Others have been incorporated into the boat as they have been developed. All have a common purpose: to make cruising easier and more enjoyable.
Once you step aboard these luxurious trawlers and handsome cruising boats, you'll find it difficult to step off.

New 70-foot Raised Pilothouse: The largest, fastest and most luxurious in Aleutian Series
The largest, fastest and most luxurious trawler of the line, the Aleutian 70, improves on already first-class handling, speed, stability, and accommodations of the 64 Aleutian.
Primary among the improvements is a spacious cockpit that is ideal for entertaining, lounging or fishing. The interior defines space and luxury with three private staterooms, crew's quarters, four separate heads, and a salon with crown molding details. Uncommon in a yacht of this size, anticipated top speeds are expected to exceed 25 knots (@ 2300 RPM). The extended hull length also means better handling and increased speeds from its "little" brother, the 64.

Grand Banks Launches Swift and Stylish New Addition to the Eastbay Series - Banks 47 Eastbay FB
The Grand Banks 47 Eastbay FB was featured in the 2005 Miami show along with its predecessor, the stunning Grand Banks 58 Eastbay FB.
The latest addition to Grand Banks' Eastbay Series of yachts, this two-stateroom craft is a head-turner in every way. And, as with all Grand Banks yachts, the quality of manufacturing is apparent in every detail. The hull of the 47 Eastbay FB is solid fiberglass below the chine and cored with vacuum-bagged PVC foam in the topsides. A smooth ride and exceptional performance is always guaranteed with the authentic C. Raymond Hunt hull design. With a standard power package of twin 700 HP engines and optional engines up to 720 HP, the 47 Eastbay FB quietly enjoys top speeds exceeding 30 knots and easily cruises at 25.

A graceful staircase to the flybridge curves gently up from the cockpit, marking yet another design choice that is at once elegant and practical.

Although not its debut, Grand Banks will be showing the largest, and most luxurious yacht in the Grand Banks Aleutian Series.
Reaching upwards of 27 knots, the 70 Aleutian CP cruises swiftly in style. Its gracious accommodations include three private staterooms, four heads, additional crew’s quarters, plus an expansive aft cockpit that sets a beautiful stage for on-board entertaining.
The 70CP was built on the acclaimed Tom Fexas-designed hull Grand Banks first introduced with the 64-foot Aleutian. With its distinctive flared bow keeping topsides dry and comfortable, the hull is built to the highest FRP standards to be stable and safe in all sea conditions.
