The Hatteras legend began on the barrier islands of the North Carolina shore where the frigid waters of the Labrador Current encounter the tropical Gulf Stream. The outcome is Diamond Shoals – home to some of the most turbulent and untamed waters in the Atlantic and some of the best sportfishing in the world. Hatteras builds luxury motor yachts from 63 to 100 feet and sportfishing convertible yachts from 50 to 90 feet.
Hatteras yachts continue to set the standard for ruggedness and high performance in all waters. Hatteras builds all its boats with a solid fiberglass hull bottom, and only Hatteras warrants its hull for five years – a testament to the ruggedness of their boats.

68 Convertible Sportsfisherman
 The
68 sports a 192-square-foot cockpit that includes a mezzanine
deck for superior seating and amenities.
The mezzanine
houses double- size bait freezer, insulated storage tubs, tackle
drawers, insulated drink storage and more. The mezzanine is designed
in modular fashion, which allows each owner to customize the location
of various components such as freezer, ice box or optional baitwell.
Below the cockpit deck is a large, open lazarette accessible through
the engine room hatch.

 The
profile of the new 80 Motor Yacht features sleek lines pleasing
to the eye and a hull design that will exhilarate. Curved window
frames with a swept-back radar arch and triple portholes for the
master stateroom combine in an elegant, yet aggressive profile.
The new hull bottom with its concave bow sections and aft prop
tunnels will deliver a shallow draft and peak performance.
A quick walk
up the circular staircase leads to the Sky Lounge, where the captain
will find excellent visibility through two large window panels
with padded mullions. The helm features Hatteras' computer-based
systems monitor, which uses touch-screen technology to monitor
all ship's systems, including real-time performance data, tank
levels, visual and audible alarms, and data logs that provide
trending information for engine diagnostics. The 80 also includes
a generous electronics allowance, single-lever electronic controls
with emergency backups, and twin helm chairs.
