The new enclosed bridge provides the panoramic view of a sky lounge overlooking the water. The original open flybridge has been turned into an enclosed pilothouse. The result ... a lot more living space on the boat.
By moving the pilothouse into the enclosed flybridge, the new Hatteras Motor Yacht Sky Lounge version frees up an additional 252 square feet of accommodations on the main deck below. The new arrangement enlarges the salon and dinette area and features an informal country kitchen. A circular stairwell provides access from the galley to the helm. Truly phenomenal. As you will see below, the new 80' Motor Yacht is spacious and elegant.

On the main deck, the 80's enclosed Bridge features a spacious country-style galley, with 153 square feet of accommodations. Access to the side decks is still in place with port and starboard pantograph doors.

By relocating the galley forward, the salon now provides 377 square feet of space. The standard aft corner bar and 42-inch plasma TV are relocated forward, and additional buffet and china storage expands the already spacious dining area. The enclosed bridge salon also features an additional sofa, coffee table and end table.

 Curved glass doors, framed in polished stainless steel, give way to an open salon design with a host of entertainment options. A wet bar resides just inside the salon door for convenient access from the aft deck and is accompanied by a standard 42-inch plasma TV.
Custom furnishings include sectional sofa, club chairs, dining table, china cabinet and more. Throughout the compartment, custom soffits, exquisite moldings and sketch-face entry doors all reflect Hatteras’ commitment to the finest of interior finishes.
The galley includes all of the essentials and beautiful extras -- including granite countertops -- as standard. Appliances include dishwasher, full-height refrigerator, microwave/convection oven and four-burner ceramic cooktop.
Hatteras 80 Motor Yacht - Pilothouse
Forward of the galley, the pilothouse features two helm chairs, raised lounges with marble tables, pantograph doors port and starboard, and a convenient day head.
Also debuting on the 80 is Hatteras’ new PC Monitoring System that uses touch-screen technology to monitor all ship’s systems, including RPM, oil pressure, engine diagnostics, fuel and water levels, bilge alarms and much more.
 A second display for the PC Monitoring System resides on the expansive flybridge above.
This area features an oversized sun pad, twin L-shaped lounges with storage beneath, and a wet bar with sink, refrigerator, icemaker and bar stools.
A hot tub is available as an option.
Hatteras 80 Motor Yacht - Master Stateroom
Down below, this spacious yacht features four staterooms, each with private head, and two crew staterooms aft. The master stateroom is huge, benefiting from the full-beam design and six oversized portlights (one ventilates) in the port and starboard hull sides. It also features a king-size berth with storage beneath, walk-in locker and a 32-inch plasma TV. An optional arrangement includes his-and-her heads with shared shower -- a Hatteras exclusive.

 The roomy VIP and bow staterooms feature queen-size berths and loads of storage, while the fourth guest stateroom, perfect for children, offers a single twin berth with hinged Pullman berth above.
For privacy, the crew’s quarters are accessed through the transom or though an entryway encased in the aft-deck stairwell leading to the flybridge.

The 80 Motor Yacht is built on a solid fiberglass hull bottom backed by a five-year warranty. With its convex hull shape, deep propeller tunnels, seven-blade props and deep gear reductions, the 80 delivers a shallow draft and competitive cruising performance.
