Navionics Incorporated
announce the next big thing in electronic chart technology - Navionics
Platinum. Navionics Platinum was unveiled to the public for the
first time at the Miami Beach International Boat show in Florida.
Navionics Platinum
is the first multi-dimensional electronic charting and navigation information
product for marine chartplotters. In recent years, some products
have been offered for PCs and laptops which include charting and other
ancillary information. The limitations of the PC on a boat
are well known. Now, Navionics Platinum offers all the features that
boaters need to know - from charts, to cruising guides, to photographic
images and more - all integrated and georeferenced on a single plug
& play cartridge that could not be simpler to use with a GPS plotter.

Giuseppe Carnevali,

best data sources, the most efficient manufacturing locations, and many
sea trials to perfect and prove the concept. There is nothing else close
to the content and quality in the industry. Platinum really makes
a difference in navigation awareness and enjoyment."
