Blackfin Yachts

Blackfin Yachts were yachts created, mindful of value, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company that produced the yachts was Blackfin Yacht Corporation, which filed for bankruptcy in 1997 and eventually closed its doors. Blackfin’s manufacturing history started in 1973 with intent to build excellent offshore fishing yachts. Blackfin models ranged from the Blackfin 23 to the Blackfin 40, in styles such as flybridge, combi, and open lines. Fiberglass with the highest industry level of hand-laid laminate was chosen for Blackfin, and the yachts were built to semi-custom specifications. The manufacturing facility for Blackfin yachts allowed quality to be standardized throughout the yacht family. Salt Shaker Marine was pleased to acquire some of the Blackfin molds and produced two Blackfin 29s in 2001.

Cabo Yachts

Cabo Yachts launched their first flybridge sportsfisher in 1991. A company based in Adelanto, California, Cabo is a yacht builder specializing in flybridge and express sportfishing yachts. The yachts’ sizes can be as small as a 33 foot long express, or as large as 50 foot long flybridge model. Cabo’s facilities are large enough to develop more than 35 vessels at once, and Cabo is able to manufacture materials and components needed for yacht production, that are not otherwise available. Design tools at Cabo include CAD systems for detailed construction plans. Full-scale models are developed, then Cabo uses tank testing to prove out designs. In order to fulfill the goal of building the best sportsfishers, even the gelcoats used for surfaces are of the highest quality at Cabo.

Donzi Marine - Donzi Yachts

Donzi Yachts are tournament sportfish convertible yachts produced by the Roscioli Yachting Center, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They range from 58 feet to 73 feet in overall length. Some Donzi yachts offer custom features and custom arrangements, with the features’ availability based on materials and time. The Donzi yachts are constructed at the Roscioli manufacturing facility, located in Bradenton, Florida. Donzi Marine in Sarasota, Florida, where Donzi has been in existence since 1963, makes Donzi performance boats. Models range from 16.5 feet to 45 feet in overall length, and five series make up the Donzi boat line. Donzi Marine has received many awards throughout the years, being cited by Powerboat Magazine, Boating Magazine, and the Robb Report, as well as winning many races.

Luhrs Yachts - Luhrs Marine - Fishing Boats

Luhrs Yachts , part of the Luhrs Marine Group, builds mid-size sportfishing yachts at its St. Augustine, Florida facilities. In the 1830’s, Henry Luhrs started his own boat supply company. A century later, the Henry Luhrs Sea Skiff Company was launched to maintain the legacy. Today, Luhrs is an employee ownership company, constructing both open express and flybridge convertible yacht models, catering to the needs of sportfishing. The yacht sizes vary from 34 feet to 40 feet for the open express line, and 36 feet to 46 feet for the convertible line. Luhrs offers two tournaments, in the east (Bahamas) and in the west (Florida).

Ocean Yachts

Ocean Yachts is the Weekstown, New Jersey product of centuries-old tradition, eventually forming into a yacht manufacturing company.
