Pearson Yachts True North 33 (Cont'd...)
A True Cruiser with Exceptional Strength
In order to create that vast ninety square-foot cockpit, Pearson designers developed a unique solution, housing the engine below the cockpit deckhouse solely in a hull motor pod. The engine is easily reached from the saloon and is surrounded by ample space, making for easy maintenance. The 370 horsepower Yanmar diesel (a 440hp Yanmar is optional) is mounted not only to save deck space but, equipped with an Aquadrive shaft coupler, also reduces noise and vibration significantly.
Her beautiful sweeping sheerline, plumb bow, curvaceous tumblehome, and reverse transom aren’t just for looks. As a Division of TPI Composites LLC, Pearson utilizes the company’s proprietary SCRIMP® resin infusion technology endowing the hull of the True North 33 with exceptional strength at a lower weight than conventional fiberglass construction could provide.

This hull will cruise through the chop without complaint while giving her pilot generous 360 degree views through large, unobstructed pilothouse windows. A low running angle makes for excellent forward visibility at speed, and the True North’s bow thruster lets you take full advantage of the all-around visibility in close quarters.
Don’t let her New England lobster boat looks fool you, the True North 33 is thoroughly modern boat that embodies the longstanding values of the Pearson family.
She is a no-nonsense cruiser that allows you to enjoy your time on the water with no fussing, and put her to bed with a quick hose down.
This boat is a fine addition to the True North line, and no-doubt worthy of the Pearson name. Welcome to the family! |
