Boat Review: Tiara Yachts 4100 Open, 2002
|

A Power Punch with an Elegant touch of Class. We must have looked at 6 different brands before we ended up settling on our first Tiara. We purchased it for many reasons, one being that is was a lot of boat for it's size. Another reason was that the quality of the boat jumps out at you ... |

Boat Review: Sea Ray 390 Express Cruiser 39` 1987
The Best Sea Ray Ever Built! Large enough to entertain 12-16 people! Storage, storage and more storage with all the amenities make her a great boat to weekend on. We even closed the house up one summer and just stayed on her without ever feeling cramped.

Boat Review: Tiara Yachts 31 Open - 1985
I have owned several boats over the years, and the Tiara has been the best yet for comfortable family cruising and fishing. Cockpit is very generous at over 10' x 10'. Helm visibility is generally unobstructed. We use the boat for fishing and general cruising, even with fairly regular overnights for a family of 4 in the summers.

Boat Review: Tiara Sovran 4000 with IPS - 2006
Owner's Review of a brand new model from Tiara complete with the Volvo IPS drives.
"Very Responsive. Handles 3-4' swell and chop as if it didn't exist. Also handles much larger chop - I've bashed through 6-8' leaving the inlet - much better than I can!"
Tiara's Sovran 4000 is an awesome sweet running boat that is helping to put Volvo IPS system on the map. Here is a review from one of the early adopters.

Boat Review: Princess V40

“Very occasionally, a boat comes along that seems to have a small but discernable edge in performance over the competition.” So wrote Tony Jones (page 98 November 2002 MBY) where in a glowing tribute to this boat entitled “Tweak Philosophy” he tries to establish why it is just so good. Ok I know he refers to the 42 but in essence they are the same boat with little gain in space for the extra 2 feet.

Boat Review: Fairline 43/45 - 1998
Fairline '47: I have owned the boat for 2˝ years now and think it is wonderful. The hull gives comfortable dry ride and exhibits the excellent handling associated with Fairline boats. The build quality is excellent. Close quarters maneuvering is predictable and in my mind, easy – the boat does not have, nor needs a bow thruster. The engines, which have done approx 900 hours have been well looked after and this has resulted no major problems.

Boat Review: Fairline Targa 48 - 1998
For boat owners and daydreamers alike, Fairline's Targa 48 is a classic, and not many boats achieve such status. Visually, the proportions are right from all angles, this being the very best incarnation of the Fairline Targa range, most sporting the Pershing-like flat oval side windows.

Boat Review - Fairline Targa 30 - 1999
Try and find one with the Lux pack fitted. This included a handy second door to the heads, electro-hydraulic hatch ram and extra cleats. Side deck windows are also very desirable as these improve the styling and lighten up the cabin. From 2000 onwards an alternative dashboard layout was available. This incorporated a Raytheon Radar/Plotter and looks really good.

Boat Review: Four Winns 288 Vista, 30` - 2004

Good looks and lay out, dry ride, comfortable, practical but all the extras. Loads of storage, well built (so far) and great service after delivery. This is the largest boat that we would buy since we trailer with special permit. (13,500 lbs loaded with custom triple axle trailer). Looked at many in this range - this one stood out above others.
