Baia Marine - Baia Yachts

Baia Yachts have been produced as semi-custom, high performance yachts in Italy since 1961, originally under the company name Mericraft, and now known as Cantieri di Baja. Baia’s shipyard is found at the Gulf of Pozzuoli, near Naples, Italy; this area has been an ancient Roman harbor dating back to centuries B.C. The facilities are home to a number of integrated companies serving Baia exclusively. Baia has consistently been an Italian leader in adapting to advanced technologies. Baia started to create yacht cruisers with a rounded glass windshield as part of a convertible hard top offering. The hull construction process at Baia ensures the even distribution of the laminates and their associated mechanical attributes. The current fleet of Baia manufactured yachts range from 48 to 82 feet in length.

Bayliner Boats - Bayliner Yachts

Bayliner Yachts is world-famous for being premier in recreational boating and a member of the Brunswick Boat Group. Bayliner creates boats in runabout, deck boat, and cruiser lines using a fiberglass lamination process to ensure quality. With four separate manufacturing facilities, Bayliner is a large employer in several low population areas in North America. In Pipestone, Minnesota, Bayliner deckboats and classic versions of runabouts are constructed. Bayliner’s outboard boats and runabouts from 18 to 22 feet in length are built in Cumberland, Maryland. Two popular boat models are rendered in the Reynosa, Mexico facility, and Roseburg, Oregon makes Bayliners from 22 to 30 feet in length. The complete set of Bayliner models range from a 16 foot, 2 inch runabout to a 31 foot, 6 inch cruiser.

Chris-Craft - Chris Craft Yachts

Chris Craft Yachts started in 1874, with Christopher Columbus Smith building his own wooden boat. Chris-Craft models today cruise out of Sarasota, Florida, and range in size from 22 feet to 60 feet in length. Chris-Craft boats undergo a 6-step lamination process, using the most up-to-date equipment to apply gel, resin, and foam. There are several propulsion and drive configurations for the various models, and high quality electric harnesses are engineered uniquely for each model type. Chris-Craft boats have won many awards throughout the years, citing the overall quality of the vessels. A blend of classic boat building know-how with cutting-edge technology goes into every Chris-Craft boat.

Donzi Marine - Donzi Yachts

Donzi Yachts are tournament sportfish convertible yachts produced by the Roscioli Yachting Center, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They range from 58 feet to 73 feet in overall length. Some Donzi yachts offer custom features and custom arrangements, with the features’ availability based on materials and time. The Donzi yachts are constructed at the Roscioli manufacturing facility, located in Bradenton, Florida. Donzi Marine in Sarasota, Florida, where Donzi has been in existence since 1963, makes Donzi performance boats. Models range from 16.5 feet to 45 feet in overall length, and five series make up the Donzi boat line. Donzi Marine has received many awards throughout the years, being cited by Powerboat Magazine, Boating Magazine, and the Robb Report, as well as winning many races.

Hinckley Yachts

Hinckley Yachts - a company of firsts – was founded in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Hinckley yachts are semi-custom built in both motor and sailing styles, ranging from 29 feet up to 70 feet in length. In 1928, Henry R. Hinckley started the company with a workboat focus. Today, Hinckley pleasure cruising is produced and serviced in Southwest Harbor and Trenton, Maine, Rhode Island, Maryland, Georgia and Florida. Hinckley pioneered the American transition to Kevlar brand hybrid composites for decks and hulls alike. The Hinckley Company was the initial yacht builder to use the SCRIMP brand process and DualGuard brand composite construction, resulting in sturdier, lighter, and environmentally friendlier laminates. Also, Hinckley was the first to combine jet propulsion into a semi-custom yacht.

Regal Yachts

Regal Yachts is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The family-owned company manufactures yachts in sizes of 17 feet through 41 feet in length, in styles including runabouts and express cruisers. Regal has been a pioneer in unique hull construction, and has been the recipient of the IMTEC innovation award for its own FasTrac hull design. FasTrac causes yachts to have faster performance and use less fuel. A state-of-the-art coating gel is used on Regal’s yachts, which contains UV filters that preserve original color. Regal is concerned with saltwater decay of yachts; to address this concern, Regal utilizes premium grade stainless steel for virtually every component. Some yachts are shower-tested for water leakage. Regal holds one of the first ISO 9002 registrations for yacht manufacturers.

Tiara Yachts

Tiara Yachts began its history with Leon Slikkers, formerly of Chris-Craft. In 1955, Slikkers set out to start his own yacht building company; after selling his original company, and starting to build motor yachts, Tiara Yachts came into existence. Tiara is a division of S2 Yachts, Inc., with head offices/manufacturing in Holland, Michigan, and another manufacturing facility for specific models in Swansboro, North Carolina. Tiara features two lines of yachts: open, measuring from 31 feet to 53 feet in length with standard pulpit, and express Sovran, ranging from 41 feet to 55 feet with standard pulpit. Tiara’s design and engineering groups write electrical software specific to Tiara yachts, and use various 3-D views in design. Tiara has chosen a modified deep-V hull to promote a stable ride.
