Lagoon

Lagoon Yachts was a 1984 spin-off company from Jeanneau Advanced Technologies, a racing division of Jeanneau. Now Lagoon is a member of the Custom Yacht division of the Beneteau Group, with an intimate connection to CNB Yachts. Lagoon specializes in cruising catamarans, with custom monohulls and formerly racing multihull designs. Bordeaux, France is the location for Lagoon, who has an abundance of knowledge in strong, lightweight composite construction. After much technology research, Lagoon chose to direct their construction technique to resin infusion, which completely saturates fiberglass cloth layers to create a very solid hull. Lagoon yacht models are 38 feet to 67 feet in overall length, as well as larger custom catamarans. In the movie, “Waterworld,” two Lagoon 60-foot trimarans are featured.
