The seat actually turns around so you can be part of the action. You no longer have to be cut off from the rest of the boat party. You are still part of the group, if not the ringleader, sitting in the captain's chair. The Huge Cockpit on the 48 Sundancer is Most Impressive One of the most impressive features of the boat ... the huge cockpit, provides as much living space above deck as there is below so people can bring their friends out for a day of boating and at the end of the day go back to the dock and have a sundowner and hourdevours. The cockpit is huge. You have an enclosed area out of the elements with plenty of room in the back for getting sun outdoors. The aft, open cockpit area has large U-shaped seating and a wet bar with Corian countertop to port.
