This is the rebirth of the Tiara Convertible. Yes, you read it right, Tiara is back in the Fishing Machine Business.

The all-new Tiara 3900 Convertible is a re-dedication to the fly bridge sport fishing boat. It's  been designed from scratch and manufactured for performance and function, all the while wrapped in a package with the comfort and style traits you expect from Tiara Yachts.  And, she has a story that goes with her in that a prototype was ready a year ago but the design team felt they were satisfied with her initial performance. 

Proto-type Excellence Demanded

Although quite satisfactory, Tiara felt they could do better.  It's performance was similar to other sport fishing boats, but it just wasn't good enough to be a Tiara. So, they discarded the molds and redesigned the hull to improve handling.  They launched the proto-type and the results were well worth it.  Her performance is said to be terrific.  Boater's LIFE is looking forward to experiencing it first hand  at an upcoming dealer meeting. The company is very excited about the outcome and they should be.

That is one example of what makes a great boat company, truly great!  And makes a Tiara ... a Tiara.

Clean, Simple, Functional, and Fishy

The all-new and unique hull design features a sheer that is low at the transom for reaching down to manage fish along side. No port lights, no style lines and a flare that will scare the water and send it running back to where it came from. Rough seas are no problem, but then again they never are in a Tiara Yacht. Clean, simple, functional, and fishy.

The cockpit abounds with serious fishing features and includes an optional transom bait well, in-floor storage boxes, room for a fighting chair, standard and integrated bait prep center with optional freezer, tackle drawers and trays, and engine room access.

This boat will be available in Spring of 2006.

There is a true business-like approach at the helm station. The pod style helm comes complete with optional side mount controls and a horizontal deep dish wheel complete with a knob, a customary “jewelry case” just forward of the wheel for analog instrumentation, and lots of room for electronics and engine displays, hidden switches and equipment controls. Dual pedestal seats are positioned with room to pass behind.  A forward-facing bench seat, with a cooler box and optional refrigerator plates, provides a panoramic view and is located forward. Overhead, there is a pipe-style aluminum surfboard thin hardtop.

From the aft cockpit, enter the salon to find an L-shaped settee with table to starboard.  An ample L-shaped lounge that easily converts to a double berth to port, all the while maintaining an open feel with plenty of walking area.

An entertainment center, complete with a 26” flat screen TV, makes watching the videos of today’s fishing action from anywhere in the salon a breeze. All windows are dark tinted to reduce glare and keep your interior looking like new for years to come. Best of all, there is an optional forward window, with cover and as sturdy as the hull itself, that provides a forward view and lots more light for those inside.

The galley includes a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, a two-burner stove, a microwave convection oven, and a large sink. Perfect for long stays on board, this boat is laden with storage areas including drawers, cabinets, a pantry, as well as storage below the galley floor.

Continuing forward, to starboard, is the guest stateroom featuring a sliding door that takes up less space, and complete with a hanging locker, particularly large over and under berths (not just for the kids), and a rod locker below the lower berth for 4 big game rigs.

All the way forward is the master stateroom. The master stateroom provides the comfort and luxury we've come to expect from Tiara, with the inner spring mattress, hanging locker and plenty of additional places to stow items.

To port, is the head, featuring a cylindrical stall shower that is roomy and accessible. The entire head is executed in style worthy of a cruiser and rare in a sport fisherman.
